The phone call that changed my life….
January 13, 2015 I received a phone call that my husband, Wes, had fallen and paramedics were on the scene. The next call I received, he was on his way to the hospital via ambulance. When I reached the hospital, an hour and a half later, I was met by the Chaplain, taken to a conference room, and saw on my lead Pastor’s face, and heard his words, “Wes, has gone to be with Jesus!” What!!! Where do you go after those words ….
I looked and saw my 28 year old son — falling apart! I grabbed ahold of him, anchored my faith in Jesus and said, we will get through this! Not sure what that meant, but I knew we would.
The next morning, opening my Bible, These words — “For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, “Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13)
I took a hold of those words and have held on to them to this day — 23 months later.
Through the last two years, I have learned to trust God in the unknown — ministry changes, furniture mishaps as I sold our home, a friend getting sick and needing to go home on mid-way through our camping trip in the Canadian Rockies, a move to a new state, and more than I can list. God is faithful!
Today, I know He is calling me to a new day, a wonderful ministry in a new season. I am excited to experience life through KatyWeber.com and the ministry it brings.
I am excited to allow God to use my experience to encourage you, bring HOPE to your season of transition and discover a fresh look at his goodness! Looking forward to connecting with you!
In His service,
Katy
